So it's been a while since I posted a blog, and even then my blog hardly got off to a flying start. I thought I'd turn over a new leaf and start engaging with the internet a bit more - not that I don't enough already!
Currently I have 3 canvases on the go in between Uni work, working for Noel Williams Racing, and planning for my wedding in 3 months (EEEK!).
All of the above still have a few tweaks to be made to them before I'll have them up for sale in my Etsy shop - all of course, at very affordable prices!
The first painting is multiple grade one winner Hurricane Fly. This painting had been stuck at the back of a pile of canvases for well over a year, and it's only recently i've decided to go back to it. I'm pleased with the results so far, but need to study some more human faces I think!
The second two are of two of Noel's horses - the first is Authorized Too (Arthur), and the second is Kincora Fort (Brian). I've been keen to start working in oils for some time, and these two are my first attempts. I have to say I have loved working in oils, and find them a lot more versatile than acrylics.
My mind is more than pre occupied today, as tomorrow it's the start of the Cheltenham Festival. This year is extra exciting as Noel has a runner in the Mare's Hurdle. Fingers crossed for a good run from Briery Queen, but hopefully she can leave Vroom Vroom Mag and Limini behind coming up the hill in front!
Good luck to all participants and racegoers this week, and let's hope all horses come home safe.
